The company was founded to provide an opportunity for individuals and businesses to tap into the real life experiences of senior professional women who have ‘survived’ and thrived in their careers and professional men who have a credible mandate to sponsor female success. In industries challenged by retaining females and where the proportion of women holding leadership positions remain low, the best possible advisors are those who have achieved success while juggling the many challenges life throws our way.
There is much behind the company’s name:
Kristiana Greenwood and Fiona Dunster founded Real Energy Co and collectively bring 40+ years’ experience working in the property, construction, facility and asset management industry. Between them they have worked within both corporate and Not For Profit environments, started businesses, sold businesses and held numerous Board roles. Both have wide-ranging experience mentoring formally and informally as well as business coaching and board advisory proficiency.
Kris and Fiona are two of the Board Members who lead TEN Women - a group comprising 10 senior influential women in the property, construction and facilities management industry with a mandate to connect and empower women to make meaningful impact.
In addition, Kris is the first female Chair of the Facility Management Association of Australia and holds numerous board roles while Fiona is an industry award recipient for her work in advancing the interests of women and a co-founder of The University of Melbourne Architecture Planning and Building Women’s alumni network.
Both Kris and Fiona are recipients of various industry awards and are regularly published or seen presenting at industry events.
